This is an art form considered to be Pre-Colombian. The figures have an Aztec Indian look that dates back to before the Spanish came to what is now South America. Each of the Circle of Friends are wrapped arm in arm in a circle. In the middle of them is a place for a candle to be inserted and lit. The Indian Legend says that at then end of the evening, friends would gather around the fire and share their hearts. They would each speak of the good qualities of others.
