I personally found the book totally fascinating from start to finish. In fact, I was somewhat sorry to see it end and couldn't wait to get started on the next book. This is a story of unashamed greed and how it is exploited in our legal system. If you're unfamiliar with the Tort system you'll get a good introduction to it. The story is about a young litagator, Clay Carter and his rise from a low paid public defender to the King of Torts in America in a very short time. What starts as a fairly routine murder case develops into a life altering experience that uncovers the insatiable greed of lawyers.
