He's an NYPD homicide detective and probably the most bizarre person you'd ever run across and not just because he has echolalia and is somewhat preternatural. He's just downright spooky. He and his female partner are tracking down some killer who simple eats most of the victims. This, along with Jack's bizarre behavior and antics, leaves you a very unsettling feeling. Congratulations to the author on a very unique concept and for making it work.
