Dillion experiences the Ghouls first hand and has a hard time convincing his fellow agents of what he saw. Nevertheless, the Tuttle's are still anted for kidnapping and murder and the cross country chase is on. Also, Dillon's sister Lily, has been cheated out of her grandmothers paintings worth millions of dollars when they discover they've been replaces by forgeries. In some ways, this aspect of the book is even better that the harder to believe "Ghouls".
