ISBN: 0743460529 This is a great mystery book revolving around the events of a murder that took place over 20 years in the past. Ellie's sister, Andrea was found murdered in a barn and although someone has been found guilty and sent to prison, there has always been some doubt if they got the right person. Ellie knows in her heart that the murdered has been caught and fights with everything she's got to make sure he stays in jail. The only thing I found a little unplausable is why all of the things that were uncovered took so long to come up. Ellie's running around to people she knew in her hometown and asking all sorts of questions about who testified at the trial and if there is anything else they can remember. If her life has been so obsessed with finding the truth, it seems rather odd that she wouldn't be asking those questions many, many years ago. It's still a very good mystery / suspense novel and should keep your attention long into the night. |
